This is a workable 10-point plan to help increase happiness and make you feel more positive about things:
Take half an hour of exercise once a week and aim to increase this as the weeks go by
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
At the end of each day, reflect on one or two things you are grateful for.
TAKE TIME TO TALK
Have an uninterrupted conversation with your partner or closest friend each week.
Even if it is a window box or pot and keep it alive!
CUT YOUR TV VIEWING TIME DOWN
at yourself in the mirror every day and smile at and say hello to a stranger at least once a week.
PHONE A FRIEND
Make contact with one friend or relation you have not spoken to for a while.
HAVE A GOOD LAUGH
at least once a week
GIVE YOURSELF A TREAT
everyday and take time to enjoy it.
SPREAD SOME KINDNESS
And do a good turn for someone whenever you can.
